Remember that 63-part questionnaire people who wanted to work for the Obama Administration needed to fill out. I first wrote about it here: About That Obama Administration Job Application Questionnaire... (And what follows is basically a re-write of that original post to fit yet another example of the point that I am making here)
This is the questionnaire that wanted to know every single detail of an applicant's history, including whether applicants have ever touched a gun:
The questionnaire leaves no stone unturned in its 63-part effort to excavate any personal or professional transgressions in a candidate's past. Sample indiscretions run the gamut from criminal convictions and tax fraud to text messages or personal diary entries that could be a "possible source of embarrassment" to the President-elect if made public. - Time
Given the trouble that Obama nominees have gotten into, such as the tax trouble that multiple Obama nominees including Geithner and Daschle have run into, I guess that application was meant mainly to use to exclude people from consideration that the Obama team didn't like. Because if Obama decided that their tax indiscretions were not bad enough to exclude employment for them, what was on the applications that were rejected?
Now we have the Obama Administration's Green Czar Van Jones have to resign due to an extensive history of behavior that is unacceptable as part of any White House Administration. His problems had nothing to do with taxes. His problem was directly related to his radical ideology and his actions to support it. Did Van Jones complete Obama's 63-part questionnaire? I doubt it. Even if he did, I doubt it would have excluded him from being hired by Obama. After all, this is exactly the type of person that Obama is looking to use to further his agenda.

Who do they have in the White House? A self-proclaimed Communist. A vulgar Marxist twice over. A supporter of cold-blooded cop killer Mumia Abu Jamal. A 9/11 Truther . A racist hater, whose hatred extends to the United States. And insofar as his current job is concerned, we have a man who sees the "green jobs" con as a tool for overthrowing capitalism. We have, in short, the complete left-wing nightmare package. - Powerline (Quote Found via Newsbusters)
Once again I have to wonder if Obama has been hunting out these damaged politicians. On purpose.
No serious Administration would look to employ a radical as part of their team, especially when they have been trying to portray a message of moderation. Van Jones is not the only radical in Obama's Administration. The question is, how many more of them are out there and what will it take to get rid of them. At least in this case, it seems that all that was needed was to shine some light on the person's own past behavior. Hopefully, educating the public on some other of these 'public servants' will have the same result. (Although it didn't help in getting rid of Obama at election time.)

Van Jones's resignation should not be the end of the issue. Obama's team should have to explain why they hired him in the first place. After all, he is resigning because he has been exposed for the type of person that his is and not for any action that he has done while employed by the President. So, was the President aware of his past and if not, why was it not noted on his questionnaire? And if it was noted, why did the administration ignore the red flags that this should have put up? And if no questionnaire was completed, why was this person with a well-known questionable background given a free pass?
Where is Van Jones's Questionnaire?
